The head psychotherapist started her career in 2000 after getting a degree in Psychology from Florida International University. In 2003, she received a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and completed her internship at the Broward Outreach Center. Three years later, she completed her coursework for a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and did her internship at the Miami-Dade Department of Human Services. She has worked with a broad range of individuals from successful professionals, to young children, to homeless individuals, and has extensive experience in a variety of areas, including drug and alcohol addiction, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, divorce and life transitions, mediation, adolescent behavior problems, ADHD, and parenting issues.
The Center for Behavioral Solutions was founded with the primary objective of helping many individuals in our South Florida community take control of their lives.
We will assist all clients in finding effective customized solutions that enhance life and optimize human potential.
The therapists hold a minimum of a masters' degree in the field of social services and have extensive experience providing therapy.
The mediators are certified through the court system to provide mediations for a wide range of issues such as child custody, divorce, and housing disputes.
We supervise Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns.
We provide lectures in the areas of leadership, communication, teamwork, professional relationship, cultural
diversity, conflict resolution, and mental health counseling.
We are a privately owned counseling, consulting, and behavioral sciences clinic with its primary office in Plantation. We also have offices in Miami and Palm Beach. Clients comprise all cultural, racial, and economic backgrounds, including individuals with different sexual orientations. Many of our services are provided in English, Spanish, Creole, and French.
